Old sick or heavily injured horses
who think their time is up
May take it upon themselves
to lay their bones to rest
their battle weiry bodies
their weak and sickly state
their time aged bodies with
memories slowly fading by
of the better times in good health
within the safety of a herd
may wander here,
its never far
to where the rest remain
the anscestors have done this
for many years before
but now as your time has come
into the valley you must walk
to lay your weiry body along
with those past before you
their bleached bones remain.
So you enter the valley
holding you once magificant body proudly
Your head aloft
you prance through your last dance
praying for your soul to continue the journey
that your body just cant make.
