Horse Breed History: THe icelandics on this page were taught to tolt from an early age weather it be from human or horses. Tolting is a very extended trot that is slightly faster than a gallop but not faster than a run. Tolting was very familiar in this breed and famous. Icelandics had reaces with thier ponies and the horses were so good at tolting that they would almost taought the ground with their belly fuzz.
